STAFF REPORT
For Sarasota County:
- Solid-waste curbside collections will operate on a normal schedule.
- County facilities including the downtown Administration Center, Robert L. Anderson, Sarasota County Operations Center, Comptroller and Clerk of Court, Sarasota Department of Health and Health and Human Services will be closed Monday, May 25.
- SCAT bus services will be suspended on Monday.
- Hazardous waste sites will not accept appointments on Monday.
- Libraries will not accept/schedule curbside pick-up on Monday.
City of Sarasota:
- All city administrative offices
- Payne Park tennis center
- The annual Memorial Day Parade was cancelled in April due to COVID-19
- No change to garbage, recycling and yard waste collection
City of North Port
- North Port City Hall
- No change to garbage, recycling and yard waste collection
City of Venice
- Venice City Hall
Town of Longboat Key
- Town offices
- Residential garbage collection will take place Tuesday, May 26
Post offices are closed and there will be no mail delivery.
Banks will be closed.
